The EFOS Ultracure 100SS Plus is one of the most technically advanced and powerful regulated UV-A sources available. With a typical initial output of 20,000 milliwatts per square centimeter between 250 and 500 nanometers, the Ultracure 100SS Plus is the right choice for curing ultraviolet/visible activated inks, adhesives, conformal coatings, encapsulants and sealants.
By transmitting the light through a liquid filled flexible light guide, UV energy can be directed exactly where required. This light conduit allows polymerization on heat sensitive substrates. The light guide may be used in a fixed or moving position for automated assembly or hand held for manual spot curing.
The lamp shutter is controlled by a digital timing circuit to provide precise exposures. The shutter can be controlled by activating switch on the front of the unit, or by any mechanical or electro-optical DC switching device plugged into the remote jack on the front panel.
The lamp housing, located inside teh unit, is cooled by a high speed fan that makes continuous operation possible. Overheating of the interior is prevented by use of a thermal protection circuit included in the power board.
The hour meter records the accumulated usage time of the lamp and also provides a method to determine when to measure the UV energy to ensure adequate intensities
The Ultracure 100SS Plus high intensity ultraviolet/visible light source, housed in a lightweight portable cabinet, is the answer for spot curing at the speed of light.
